I am currently running an FX-4130 AMD processor, an ms-7641 motherboard and an asus geforce GTX 750 ti with a 500 atx power supply. My question is would an AMD FX-8350 be compatible with my motherboard
your mobo is really just for running a FX 4 cores ( i don't recommend using FX 6 to 8 cores on that mobo)
as u see it only has 1 4 phase power connector on the mobo and the vrms and capacitors are weak on easy to overload on that mobo.
i suggest u get a better mobo and like a gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P rev1 or rev2 and an FX 6300 (and overclock to 6350 speed) if it is within your budget or an 8320 (and overclock to 8350 speed) if you can stretch your cash a little.
