So i am going to upgrade my mobo and psu very soon however i have no knowledge on these parts and the specifics i need to buy to fit my computer and the gtx 1070 i am going to buy some time after.

My MOBO is very old i think and is just straight up ass lol MSI h81m-e34 and then theres my PSU which is an unknown brand Rhombutech 700w so you can see why i am upgrading hehe anyway i have a gtx 970, i7 4790k 16gb ram ddr3 but would like to get my other 2x8GB sticks in aswell and then my case is a Hornet CA-0300NG by MS-TECH will also be upgrading my CPU cooler as it is just stock currently.

If anyone could link me a PSU of the same watt and a mobo compatable with my gtx 1070 upgrade and other computer parts along with my 970 currently would be so so so greatly appreciated.

Oh and i would like to keep the spenditures to around £140 i think is good

Solution
You will want a Z97 Mb to fully utilize your 4790k. For psu, you don't need 700W. 1070 ref TDP is 140W, 4790k is 88W, the rest and consider some altered gpu and add 80W -> 308W, times 1.25 considering healthy running level of the psu. 400W should be more than enough.

Get this if you are really tight on the budget:

CPU: Intel - Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor (£0.00)
Motherboard: Gigabyte - GA-Z97P-D3 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (£84.73 @ Amazon UK)
Power Supply: Corsair - CXM (2015) 450W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply (£49.60 @ Box Limited)
Total: £134.33

Although I will recommend this psu despite it is higher, but better quality and newer:

Awesome thanks so much and that will fit the case aswell no bother as i see my current mobo is a micro atx if i'm not mistaken also i see this PSU - https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/49Gj4D/evga-power-supply-100w10600k3 is it any good cheaper than the other 2 i think aswell

EDIT: i have an older PC with a Corsair VS450 would that be any good?

K3 is not as reliable as those two.
Don't go with VS unless really tight on budget.
Check https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/631048-psu-tier-list-updated/
CXM is tier 3, B3 is tier 5 (a couple of reviews show the technology is close to G2, which is tier 1).
VS and K3 are tier 6.

Ok thank you very much for the help i just have 1 last thing to ask and that is does the MOBO support M.2 memory i wouldnt mind upgrading to some of that later on at some point aswell.
