Hi, I have had my PC for a while now with an FX-8350 and over time upgraded the power supply, CPU Cooler, Video Card and I have added an SSD as well so all parts are up to date except for the processor. Now I was looking at newer processors (Only Ryzan) and I know that I don't want to have anything less than a Ryan 7 2nd gen. From the research I did and while referring to my budget which is $800 I wanted to buy the Ryzan 7 2700X (this includes motherboard and RAM) I hope you can respond fast hoping to purchase soon!

Solution
Id go with the 2700x which will basically speed upto as fast as it can when needed making an overclock not needed. The list above is slightly better because of the faster ram timings. You could revise that list to have prices from amazon.ca or whatever you want.
Here is a list based around the ryzen 7 2700x with included wraith max rgb cooler. The build also has an Asus x370 f motherboard that should allow for good overclocks and offer great build quality. If you want the top of the line board with wifi you could spend nearly double. I included 16gb or ram but you could up this. 3200 in dual channel makes ryzen perform at its best.

basically what remix gave you is what you want.
if you haven't purchased yet, that's what to get since ASUS has probably the best RAM QVL in town, and the Trident Z 16GB kit he listed are on that QVL so you'll get those speeds guaranteed, also, I've never been wronged by an ASUS motherboard. Not once.
Gigabyte yes, and MSI, but never an ASUS. Granted, I always get more moderate to higher end boards from them so that might have something to do with it.

But I would get the motherboard from B&H not OutletPC.

Here is the build adapted with the motherboard from bandh. B and h is a decent company and i have bought from them before. It cost the same upfront from bandh but doesnt have a rebate.

Thanks for your suggestions, I kinda was just wondering if the 2700X was worth the extra money or if I should go with 1700, 1700X, 1800X or 2700 I also am Canadian and I only buy my parts off of two places Newegg and Amazon so do you think the 2700X is worth the extra money or could I get the same performance from a 1700 or above?

Depends on if you plan to overclock it or not. If you don't, then having the higher boost clock from the 2700X is pretty nice, but you can overclock a 1700 non-x pretty decently. I had mine sitting arounf 3.9'ish on all cores before upgrading to a 2700X.

I second this list. The only thing I would change is this G.Skill kit but with 14 cas latency timings. This kit will cost significantly more, but will be faster and allow for more budget utilization:

Any ryzen 1000 series is based on 14nm and has lower clocks than the 2000 series. The 2000 series is a little less picky about ram, based on a revised 12nm finfet node, and has higher clocks. A ryzen 7 1700 overclocked will be a little behind a 2700x at stock. It is 1/2 the cost however. A 2700x cannot be overclocked too far. Some 1000 series x cpus do not have stock cooler and the 2700x has an improved wraith max rgb cooler over the wraith spire led cooler on the 1700.

If being over budget is unacceptable, you can downgrade to the slower memory.
Note: Without knowing your existing case, you should confirm the above ATX form factor is compatible.

That may be correct, but you'll be gimping your new Ryzen system as the infinity fabric benefits from faster memory. You'll be shortening the lifespan of your system before a new platform upgrade is warranted.
