Upgrading RAID

I have a Dell Dimension with 2 400 GB hard drives. I need more storage and want to upgrade the RAID drives.

I have no idea whether I need software to "clone" the drives. I'm running Win XP Pro.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

If you need more storage running raid doesn't help. Raid is used for redundancy and backup.

cloning a raid is a pain in the ass just back this data up to a third drive or bluray disks, (i know that would take a lot of them) then copy it to your new raid,
but for sure back it up. if you lose your data it will suck and it will suck more if you have say your only copy of wedding photos on them. cuz then your wife stabs you.
