Hi everyone, I have a Lenovo Ideapad 330S-15ARR Model: 81FB00HKUS. It has 4GB RAM soldered and a 4 GB DIMM.
I wanted to upgrade the memory to atleast 16GB because a course that I am taking requires a laptop with a minimum of 16GB RAM. I was looking into upgrading the RAM but some people suggested it's not a good idea to do so because it will actually cause my laptop to perform poorly and that since the soldered RAM is 4GB it's best to not upgrade the DIMM RAM to more than 4GB. What suggestions do you guys have should I upgrade it and if so to what.
P.S I contacted Lenovo about this matter and they said I can not upgrade the RAM or the SSD on my laptop. I wonder why they told me that when theres been upgrades made to other Ideapad 330S by other users.
