Hey guys!
I own a Lenovo Ideapad 100-151BD (Nvidia GeForce 920M, I5 5200U and 6gb RAM).
I bought Pubg last week and im running the game on 30-40 fps on very low specs but im getting frame drops. The problem is my 6gb RAM. Should i upgrade my 6gb Ram to an 8gb for a smoother performance (not only for pubg) or is it a wrong move?

Solution
The issue is not your RAM, your video card and CPU are pretty weak. A 920M is a low end video card. I'd sell the laptop and get a faster one, I doubt the RAM will help you in any meaningful way. If you want to spend the money, dual channel 4 GB sticks will run better than a mix of 4 and 2 GB sticks. This system is on a pretty good sale and is a good starter gaming system with a good CPU and decent video card https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16834861167 much faster then your system now.

Or keep your laptop for use as a portable system and get a $500 lower spec gaming setup with a Ryzen 1300X CPU and a 1050Ti desktop card if you want to save a bit over a laptop setup and with ability to upgrade.
