Recently, as part of my college course, I've been utilising more workstation applications alongside Office, Chrome, Spotify and other applications. I feel at this point, 8GB isn't enough RAM for me and, thankfully, my MSI GE60-2PL allows me to upgrade it.
I've checked on Speccy and CPU-Z and there seems to be some corroborating details:
In slot 1/4, there is a Kingston 8GB DDR3 PCe-12800 (800MHz), with the part number MSI16D3LS1KBG/8G.
Despite knowing this information, my issue is what module should I buy to upgrade to 16GB? This is all out of my fear that, if I buy a module and it's not compatible, I don't want to go through the rigmarole of refunding (which may not even go through, possibly).
Even if I've looked on Amazon and Ebay, only similar modules exist. Plus, living in the UK, I don't want to order parts from abroad when I could possibly buy here. Keep in mind that I'm a student on a budget as well.
