[SOLVED] Upgrading ram from 8 GB (2 slots of 4GB) to 32 RAM

I'm using the Samsung Series 9 NP900X4C-A01US and I would like to upgrade my memory.

The current is (4 GB X 2) and I think to update it to (8 GB X 2) or (8 GB + 16 GB) or (16 GB X 2).
How do I know which one will support my computer.

When I surf the Intel website I saw that my Intel® Core™ i5-3317U Processor support 32 GB.

Need help please, what's the best option to upgrade my laptop.

Thanks a lot.

Solution
A matched pair is going to be your best bet, so 2x8GB or 2x16GB. However, despite what you see in the Internet, actually getting it to work is a coin toss. Maybe it will, maybe it won't. It's up to you to decide whether it's worth the cost.

Solution
Manufacturer supports 8GB ram max configuration.
Theoretically cpu can support up to 32GB. With 2 ram slots 2x16GB should be possible.
But will it work? ... Hard to tell. You're at your own risk there.

You may get excess ram over 8GB in hardware reserved area - not available to user processes.
