My buddy upgraded to Win 10 in this budget box (Dell Inspiron 660s), and his 4 gigs onboard RAM ain't cutting it, so I was gonna upgrade him to 8 gigs of 1066. MY question is, I've no experience with non-ECC RAM, but was wondering if this would work:

Here's the basic specs:

Also, it seemed to indicate I could use 1600mhz on one site, versus the 1066 onboard. What can I push this thing to? Should be 240 pin dimms, I haven't even opened it up yet. Just wanted to figure out the RAM (I was thinking 2X4 gig cartridges...it has the 2x2 1066 it came with in it).

Any and all help is appreciated!

I don't have it. It's at their place. I was only wondering if someone had an answer off the top of their head. And having had a Dell in years past, I'd really rather not have to deal with their website and service tag crap ever, EVER again. XD
