[SOLVED] Upgrading RAM, is it worth it?

I'm currently using a laptop for gaming. It's the Dell G3 15 3579. Eventually, I'd like to start collecting parts to build a new rig. I play Valorant and my son plays fortnite on this laptop.

I noticed today that it only has 8GB of RAM. Is it worth upgrading the RAM, will it have noticable impact, or should I use that ~100 for new pc parts? If it's worth it, should I go to 16, or 32 GB?

Try it.
If what's in the pc now is a single stick of 8GB get another 8GB stick.

16GB should be fine.
