So, earlier today I received some help on whether or not to go for Ivy Bridge or not.

After a lot of searching today I decided on this upgrade :

RAM : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231544

MOBO : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157295

CPU : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116504

The only problem I forsee is that my current ASRock 870 Extreme 3 is an absolute piece, and my GPU artifacts anytime I overclock..so I've basically left that alone for now.

Has anyone used the Extreme6? Any thoughts on any of this? Thanks for your help.

On MB, Not alot of responses yet (only 25), but the stats are *iss poor (only 64% 4/5 egg and 28% 1/2 egg rating).
For what it's worth I have the Asrock Z68 Extreme 4 and had NO problems on build nor since.

For Ram, Take a look at:

Very close to what I'm using in my two systems:
