Hey guys! I just recently bought an ASUS ROG Zephyrus M15(2020) with the i7 10750h and 2070 Max-Q. Apparently it has 16gb 3200mhz ram. It is only running at 2933 however. After researching this, only the i7 10850h variants of this laptop can support 3200mhz. Now heres the question:

Since the ram is 2x8gb, ONLY 1 stick is removable, the other one is soldered(for some dumb reason). Ive seen recommendations that if I want to upgrade to more memory, I would need a 16gb stick of ram. will 1x 8gb and 1x 16gb 3200mhz ram still run at dual channel? Ive heard some people say it will only run in single channel and others saying it will run at dual channel still. Whats the best way(and best ram for this laptop) to upgrade memory? Does anybody know what timings the preinstalled, soldered ram comes with?

I'm not familiar with sodimms, what a good timing is for sodimm, etc. So what I'm kindly asking is if you had this laptop, how would you go about upgrading to 24gb? or Would you just leave it at 16gb? Any help or input is GREATLY appreciated.
