Upgrading ram, what kind of performance to expect?

I have a i5 4690k with a MSI z97-g45 gaming motherboard. And i'm planning on getting 16gb of this ram . My current ram, according to CPUID is this.

I will be using it for mainly gaming, some video editing, and for SSD RAPID. So far its better than my ram in both bandwidth and in timings so what kind of real world improvement can I expect, if any?

How much DRAM do you have now? If you already have 16GB then no it's not worth it, if you have 8GB or less then yes it would be well worth it

You need to check the memory you have now it's probably 1600MHz and nobody went into BIOS and set the speed to 1600MHz after it defaulted to 1333.
As for going from 8GB to 16GB open task manager and do what you do and see how much memory your actually using.
If your not close to the amount you already have then adding more will really do nothing.
