upgrading ram with a different ram stick

Hey guys so right now i have the "Kingston 1x8GB ASU16D3LU1KBG" running at 1600mhz. What ram can i buy? which is good for gaming.? remember i want 1600mhz and 1x8GB so i can run in dual channel mode. TY

You should buy the exact same ram stick as you already have for the best chance of compatibility. It would not matter if you bought a faster stick, if the faster stick did actually work with your current stick it would run at the speed of that of the slowest stick.

So then what are you asking here? Buying a faster stick than 1600mhz wont do anything for you and may not even work with your current stick, you should buy another of the same stick you already have.

i cant buy the exact same model of my stick bcus they dont sell those anymore. ill just buy a random one that has same ddr3 and 1600mhz aswell as 1x8gb
