[SOLVED] Upgrading RAM

Hi people,

Could you help me to upgrade my RAM? I read somewhere that I can't just put some random ones in my pc

Processor: Intel Core i3 4160 3.6 GHz, Haswell Socket 1150 LGA 22nm
Motherboard: Medion H81H3-EM2 (SOCKET 0)
RAM: 4GB DDR3, 798.1 MHz

Currently my computer can't handle some basic tasks at the same time. That's why I would like to upgrade my ram to 8 or 16 gb. Could you recommend me which ones I could use and tell me what I should look at? I read somewhere that your motherboard decides whether what kind of RAM you could put in...

Maximum Memory: 16GB

There is nothing stopping you from putting in some random ones. It's just there is no guarantee adding memory to existing memory will be compatible together. That's why the use of a single kit of memory is recommended.
