Hello! I am looking to upgrade my RAM from 32gb to 64gb. Currently I'm sitting at two sticks of 16gb with Corsair Vengeance LPX and I'm simply looking to add two more of the exact same product. My motherboard is an MSI x570 Gaming Plus so I'm curious if its even compatible with the extra memory. Also I've never added more RAM to a PC before so I'm curious how that would work or if its even possible with my current set up. Do I even need the extra memory? Probably not but hey, I'm quarantined with full active duty pay so why not? Haha...thanks in advance 😀.

What CPU, the QVL varies by CPU as you can see HERE.

Memory is only guaranteed to work if purchased in sets, all other ways like adding it is a matter of good fortune. While I have always had pretty good luck adding sticks, maybe I just have good luck. 🆒

Solution
Hmm alright well let's say I wanted to replace the RAM fully with 64gb, fresh new sticks. What is the max my motherboard/CPU could support? I know it says DDR4 up to 128gb but I'm still unfamiliar with the megahertz options, I know that's speed but what is the max speed I can support? Also if it's not too much to ask could someone explain JEDEC/A-XMP OC Mode?
