Upgrading rig, cant decide on new parts

Hello, Im looking for best parts for my home pc, I have 450W Corsair PSU, old case and 3850hd radeon.

Things that I want to upgrade:

-CPU
-Motherboard
-Ram

I want to use this as 24/7 home pc where I work with office, listen to music, surf on web and also for playing some not demanding games like Diablo3, league of legends and so on. ( currently got dual core e2160)

I have about 500-600$ to spend on this.


Here are 2 possible builds that I picked ( Both builds are almost same price in my country)


1st build (3570k for OC, solid mobo, cooling and rams)

CPU - i5-3570K Processor (6M Cache, up to 3.80 GHz)
COOLING - SilentumPC HE1225
MOBO - Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H
RAM -CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Profile Desktop Memory Model


2nd build

CPU Intel Xeon E3-1230 V2 @ 3.30GHz
MOBO ASRock > B75 Pro3
RAM CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Profile Desktop Memory Model
+ either SSD - OCZ Vertex 4 128 GB or 7770 HD graphic card.


My question is, should I aim for 3570k and then OC it as it is stronger and more future proof rig or should I pick the 2nd build with xeon/3470 cheap mobo and add SSD or new graphic card to it instead of paying for expensive parts that will allow me to OC my pc.

Then save up some and get a GTX550ti/650/650ti and you're all set 😀

I have done the 1st build several times and its a very good all around system. I think its best to get a good motherboard instead of a cheap one. It's the foundation you build your system on, make sure its a good one to avoid future headaches and regrets.
