Hi,

I've upgraded my old PC (Athlon X4) to Ryzen 5. Unfortunately I have cut some cost in order to upgrade my GPU also to GTX 1060. Now I have the budget to upgrade my Processor. Which one should I go for? Is there any big difference between the 3 processors?

Currently here are the price of Ryzen 7 processors. I'm going to exclude 1700X and 1800X because of no Stock Cooler. These are all brand new I guess the 1st gen Ryzen is on clearance sale here.
Ryzen 7 1700 - $200
Ryzen 7 2700 - $300
Ryzen 7 2700X - $330

CPU: Ryzen 5 1400
Motherboard: Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3
RAM: GSkill Ripjaws V 2400 Dual Channel 16gb (8gbx2)
GPU: Palit GTX 1060 Dual
PSU: Corsair RM1000X 80+ Gold PSU
Case: NZXT H440

Also, I'm planning to replace my motherboard with a Wi-Fi ready feature such as Gigabyte B450 Arous Pro Wifi.
Is it a good board? or Should I buy an aftermarket wifi & bluetooth receiver?

P.S. Just ignore the PSU

2700x is your answer but here's the thing: you want 16gb 3200 cl 14 - 2400 is only apperative (no matter which one you will go for)

regarding mobo: MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC - by far the best one on the marked for the price in all aspects

Hard to ignore the value of that 1700, but given you have slower RAM maybe a Ryzen 5 2600 is also worth considering. A little less dependant on RAM speed, higher stock clocks and IPC, and slightly higher fps on most games. It is very close in cost though and you lose 2 cores/4 threads. Really hard to choose.

I wouldn't replace a whole motheboard just to get wifi and bluetooth myself, get a cheap usb adapter or a pcie one. Then spend the money you saved and get the 2700X :)

If you overclock, probably not a lot of difference between the 1700x and the 2700x. One YouTube video I saw, the guy seems to think there is maybe 10% or so difference. It depends how much you want to spend. Personally I'm getting a 1700x for 75 used from a friend, so for me, moving from my 1600 is a no brainer.

I see, I'll take a look on this MSI board if its available in my Country (Philippines). Also instead of upgrading my CPU, I think I should just upgrade my RAM then wait for Zen2. Thanks!

Apologies for not Including my SSDs (1 Samsung 840 Pro and 1 Samsung 850 Evo). And yes, I consider waiting for Zen 2 to Arrive. Thanks!
