Upgrading SATA function of Dell 760 USFF

I know there are a lot of posts regarding the Dell 760 USFF but mine is a simple one. I use it as a NAS and I need to improve the SATA ports - at least increase it so I can link it to an external SATA cable. Can it be done and how easy or difficult is it?
I need at least 2 SATA ports as I have 2 JBOD that I want to connect via SATA

It would require a case mod to make the sata cables reachable from the outside of the case.

That was my thought too, but there are no PCI slots.

wow is that because its old or tiny?

and sata cables only go to 1m length so doesnt help

what about some sort of usb enclosure for sata drives rather than trying to connect to the motherboard sata?

It has one sata which is being used by the internal cd case.

That is what I have now. a box of sata drives connecting via usb ports but I am having issues with the NAS so I thought maybe sata will solve the problem. So from your comments, it can't happen. I might as well sell the pc and buy a HP server.
Wish I had the cash.

I was hoping that I could modify the sole sata with the amazon pci card but I really don't understand hardware.
The dell configuration mentioned a sole sata port which was internal.

Yeah. Thanks. I think I am coming to the realisation that I should have purchased a HP Gen 8 server. Wonder if I can pick one up used.

Yeah. That is my next step. Then I need to decide what NAS software to use. That is another issue.
