i have already bought a gpu (AMD Radeon R9 380 Series gigabyte 4Gb) and i'd like to know what better hardware i can buy to install it on the build.

The specs are:
1TB HDD
8Gb ram (ddr3)
Intel core i7-3770k
Stock MotherBoard (Dell 0NW73C)
and
Stock PSU (460 watt)
GPU(Stated above 😛)

I would mainly want to upgrade the psu since the gpu says it requires 500 watts.
Any suggestions are welcome, no matter the price. Thanks!

If your motherboard supports AHCI mode, you could install an SSD which would give your system a much snappier response.

What game resolutions are you playing?

1920x1080 full settings, sometimes ultra. Lol.
How do i check if my motherboard supports AHCI mode?

Being a dell proprietary motherboard it could go either way. You most likely wont have ahci settings but you can look under storage configuration and see if you see sata/ahci settings.

I understand that even if your mobo doesn't support ahci, the sata should still work with trim enabled, just at a slightly slower speed.

Reboot your pc and press f2 at the logo screen and it should go into the bios. Be sure to save and exit after changing the settings. If you feel like you screwed something up just exit and don't save.

I just checked, i already have the ahci setting enabled. There was also another option called "Raid". Will i get the full speed of an ssd? Thanks again.

I believe you should. Raid is for when you have two or more matching hard drives and want to set them to either mirror each other for data backup, or set multiple drives to stripe the data across several drives to increase the read/write speed. You don't need that unless you buy two ssd drives and honestly the benefit isn't worth the potential headache you can introduce with raid/drive failure and data loss.

What if i want to add it along with my HDD? Would that be a problem at all?
