Upgrading from my 5820k and 980 ti build. I'll be getting about $800-900 back from the parts that I currently have after I sell them. Here is what I would like to upgrade to. I already have a nice case/psu and 64GB of memory. So no other upgrades are really needed for me atm

Solution
The build looks solid for even 4k gaming. You having 64 GB RAM suggests that you need this PC for productivity also. If that is true, I would look into a Ryzen 7 base build also and make an informed decision. Please list down your other parts also (PSU, RAM, monitor etc.)
