Upgrading System drive from SSD to bigger SSD

I'd like to upgrade my "C" system drive -148GB SSD- to a 256GB SSD, seamlessly if possible. The C drive is for Win7-64bit, and many installed programs. I have Acronis, but the instructions are a bit obscure and don't answer several questions. Would Paragon work?? Any other ideas? A clean install is out of the question, I've moved several times and don't have all the discs.

Is this a OEM pc like a Dell, HP. Toshiba...?

Its a custom built workstation based on the Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD9, and it's performed flawlessly since it was built about... 5 years ago?

Any of the free cloning programs should work and expand the partition just fine.
OEMs like to have a Restore partition on them and that leaves you stuck with more work after cloning because the empty space isn't next to the partition you want to expand.

http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.aspx just choose drives and press Clone.
