New user here, I was wondering if I could get some help, planning on buying a (RTX 3080) and I am not sure if it will fit proplerly with my system, which by that I mean compatibility with Mobo and other parts.
If someone could discuss this with me I'll appreciate it!

My current rig:

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 (MSI)
CPU: Intel Core i7 9700K @ 3.60GHz
RAM: G.SKILL Trident Z Neo (DDR4-3200 8GBx2)
PSU: Crosair HX750
Mobo: ROG STRIX Z390-E GAMING
Case: Corsair Crystal 570X RGB ATX Mid-Tower

Sounds good! I'll see if I have extra budget to spare on a new Mobo haha. Although RTX 3080 might re-stock next year
A Z490 would require a new cpu, it uses a different socket. There is no point upgrading the motherboard. You psu is plenty. NVidia’s 750w minimum was based on using a 10900k, a cpu that can take an extra +75w over a 9700k.

Case is not an issue. It accomates 370mm whereas the 3080 is 285+15mm give or take for AIO models. The PSU is the min recommended but if it's over 5years old I would suggest replacing it.
The PSU is about a year old, what about the Motherboard? I read that the newest ones such as Z490 if I remember the value correctly is the best way to go with an RTX 3080.

Yea man....took me a long time to get a 3080FE. Newegg tends to drop around 9-1030pm EST, Zotac on their store does 6-30pm and 9-10pm. If not the other way is going to microcenter 2hrs prior to opening up to 4x in a row

I'm from Israel so it might be a bit of an issue for me haha, I have to wait for a local shop to actually order them.

So in general my current Mobo should be fine for an RTX 3080, that's good then ;)
