Hi everyone,

My motherboard is an ASRock X370 Taichi ATX AM4

I built my PC around 5 years ago. I currently have a Ryzen 7 1700 CPU and I'm looking to upgrade to a Ryzen 9 5900X. I'm also upgrading my GPU from a GTX 1070 to a RTX 4070. Looking to do a big overall upgrade to my PC.

I'm looking on forums and it's saying I need to update my BIOS to version P7.10
I'm currently on version P2.40

Since I've never done an upgrade to my BIOS, do I simply need to download that version, then upgrade straight from 2.40 to 7.10 or should I do it slowly? Should I only upgrade to 7.10 or is it better to upgrade even further to the latest version?

Also I know barely anything about motherboards, if I do upgrade my CPU to a Ryzen 9 5900X and an RTX 4070, do you think my PC is going to be bottlenecked when gaming due to the motherboard? Cheers
