Hello guys, this is my first time posting, and I'm sorry but it is a bit of a newb question. This is the PC I have right now:
Motherboard: BGA1170 Q1900M VGA CPU, DDR3/SATA
CPU: Intel Quad-Core Processor J1900 (~2.00 GHz)
4 gb DDR3 ram
GPU: Intel HD integrated GPU
What I'm wondering is, would it pay off to buy a new GPU such as the GeForce GT 1030 Manli 2GB, to make it possible to play some video games on this thing, or would that not work?

Solution
Your motherboard has PCIe x16 slot, but it operates at x1 only, and you would need at least x4 for a GPU. So I think it's no go.
