Upgrading the storage of Lenovo Y510p for better performance.

Hello, I have a Lenovo Y510p with 1tb 5400RPM internal storage drive and an Ultrabay slot currently containing the CD/DVD drive which can be swapped out for another drive (I have no use for the CD/DVD drive)
So here's the gist...

Purpose: Faster loading times (Biggest priority)
I'll be shifting the whole of my OS (Win 10 currently) and my GTA V (the main reason why I'm upgrading :p ) to the new drive. Possibly 1 or 2 more games in the future?

Type of drive: Mostly a 256GB SSD (I think only the 2.5 one will work, not the msata one), but one of my friends recommended an SSHD (Hybrid Drive) preferably the Seagate 1tb Laptop SSHD ST1000LM014. The thing is I (almost) know how an SSD works, but I have no idea nor any info on a hybrid drive. The only reason I'm tempted is because it'll offer me 4 x storage at the same price, though I also know the loading times will be much slower....so enlighten me please!

Budget: 7000 INR / US$ 110 (MAX)

Now that it's sorted out, I have some questions regarding my new drive.

1) No matter what I buy, I won't be getting rid of my current 1tb 5400RPM HDD. So is it possible to insert the new drive inside the laptop and use my current drive through the Ultrabay slot? (I think I may need some caddy for this) In short, I want my new drive to be the main drive and my current one to be the secondary drive. Or is it possible to configure my new drive as the main drive through the caddy as in I need not remove my original drive?

2) Once I get my new drive, will the installation/configuration be simple enough that I may be able to do it? Or will I have to take it to an expert or a service centre?

Any kind of help will be appreciated. Thanks a lot! :D

The caddy solution is a bit iffy, and can lead to lost drives, corrupted data, uncompatible problems, and all sorts of gremlins I probably can't think of.

It is a risky coin to flip.

I found out that a 1tb SSHD has only about 30 or 60gb of SSD storage so a 256gb SSD will be my best choice. Regarding the Ultrabay slot, I've found out that I'll be needing a caddy however I haven't found any official caddy from Lenovo, just random caddies made by diffferent companies....how can I get to know which one's the most appropriate for my laptop? (Speed/proper fitting)

Dual drives in a laptop is a difficult task. I personally wouldn't trust any of the third party caddies. But really, why is 256gb not enough?

256gb is enough. It's about the current 1tb HDD that's inside. You said Dual drives are a difficult task...what are the possible problems I can run into?

I have changed the HDD's, I've put a Samsung SSD into the main/internal HDD bay(seeing since this offers the fastest SATA connection), and I've put the 1TB HDD, using a caddy, into the ultrabay. I have had this setup for 2 years now, without a single hitch, so I would recommend this to anyone.
