[SOLVED] Upgrading to 3700k 550-650 Budget

I want to upgrade from fx8350 way out of date. I was going to go the 3700 route buttttt a stronger foundation will last longer to get a gfx card down the road to keep up with performance. All I need is CPU MEMORY MOTHERBOARD AND POWER SUPPLY

I CAN USE MY OLD CASE, AND FANS, AND SSD I'll upgrade to NVE down the road. I'm still open to the 3600. This is an extra 200 dollars. It will be worth it down the road right? I want to stream-game and run apps while gaming without performance henderance.

well not really.
The mobo has 4 DIMM slots which is enough.
It has 2 pci-e x16 slot for 2 gpu,but you dont need two gpus since crossfire/sli/nvlink is dead anyway.When i say dead i mean they are pointless for gaming.It has m.2 slot,bunch of connecotrs for fan/rgb,it has lots of SATA slots.For me thats moer than unough.

If you want to downgrade the mobo,downgrade it to b550.Its just a better version of b550 with more features 3700z can utilize

There's a Phantom B550 that cost 114$ which is a great price and the mobo is pretty decent, also thermaltake PSUs are not known as the best, maybe consider changing to Seasonic.

That Asus board is out of stock as are a bunch of them. I also agree on the PSU rather bad 43A on the 12 volt rails so 516 watts not 600 if it can truly even put out 516 without pooping.
