Hello guys, I am planning to upgrade my windows 10 to 64-bit. I don't know how to do it but I'll manage that. I am here to ask, I currently have 4 GB Ram (3.5 usable), should I consider getting more ram or 4 GB is ok for 64-bit?

Also, if/when I upgrade to 64-bit, do I reformat my drives or not? Because if I need to reformat I don't think I can do that. Thanks!

Now a days i would say 8GB is the minimum for a computer, but depending on what your dong you can get by with 4GB.

if your running a 32bit OS the only way to go to 64bit is to do a full format and reinstall, there is no upgrade path for switching between the two.

sir as you said "Now a days I would say 8 GB is the minimum for a computer, but depending on what I'm doing"

as to what I'm doing, I only plan to use android emulator, and a few games like terraria and team fortress 2.
as I have already planned on buying a whole new gaming pc.

Is 4 GB enough for android emulators?

TF2 only needs 1GB of ram for its recommended requirements, Terraria recommends 4GB. After the OS uses some ram you might run into some issues with only 4GB of ram for Terraria.

I dont use android emulators so a quick google search found MEMU Play only recommends 2-4GB but notes just under the system requirements that an Intel i5 CPU plus 8GB RAM is recommended as mainstream spec for game player.
