hello i am upgrading the the 750 ti quite soon (either the reference model or gigabyte) i am also upgrading to a quad core cpu down the track (probably in a month or two)

but at the moment i have a amd a4-6300 and a gt 630.
i was wondering if i upgrade my gpu and leave the cpu upgrade for later how much will my cpu bottleneck my gpu

yeah i know it will probably not bottleneck in the majority of games but what about the games like battlefield 4 that work much better on quad core how much will it bottleneck then?

is the FX-6300 a good cpu to upgrade to its only 20 dollars more than the cpu i was going to upgrade to and features 6 cores instead of 4

I agree with the above info. you shud change or processor ASAP and try to get a 4 core processor but u shud be fine with that for the time being just make sure u don't max out the settings or overclock the card.

EDIT: You will see the difference if u play for lets say more than an hour.

Ah ok just there is no where near here that sells that cpu (i could possibly get it ordered in)
if you could have a look here http://www.bigbencomputers.com.au/viewcat.php?cid=121
could you tell me the best motherboard for the cpu i want so when i upgrade the cpu i will upgrade the mobo at the same time

no for this build it will be amd
i just dont see the point of spending top dollar for intel unless im making a really good gaming pc

yeah im in high school no job= minimal money my main purpose to upgrade this cheaply is to do my for a year or two then re purpose it as a steam machine in the lounge room then completely build a pc from scratch
