Hey guys
My components are the following
CPU: Intel Core i7 8700
GPU: Zotac GTX 1060 6gb
PSU: Liteon 500w
MB: Acer N50-600
Ram: 16gb DDR4
I want to upgrade my GPU to an Asus 1070ti Cerberus, but there are some problems I have
the Liteon PSU doesn't have an 8pin connector, or a 6+2 pin connector, only 2x6 pin connectors. This is enough for the 1060 with a 6pin connector, but the 1070ti has an 8 pin. Would I be fine just plugging a single 6pin connector into the 1070ti?
I've been reading around and found conflicting information. The 2 additional wires are only for grounding? The 6pin is only enough for 75w, until other people say it's not?
Can't provide a picture of the PSU with the volt rails, but I can jerryrig a graph:
3.3v/16A
5v/16A
12v1/12A
12v2/14A
12v3/18.5A
5v/2.5a
12v/8.3A
