Upgrading to a 3 monitors setup

Hi everybody!!

I've been reading reviews about screens for about 3 days now, and I think I'm even more confused than 3 days ago!.
right now I'm upgrading my computer to a I7 930 with a 5870, I chose this card because I want to use a 3 screens monitor setup for work but only one for games, and I do play A LOT!, then yes I'm looking for a fast screen.

I already have an accusync 22" which I quite like and a friend lend me an acer 22" for already 6 month and I'm loving to work with more than one screen, , then I don't really know if just buy another 2 accusync or go for a whole new 24"X3 screens (I tried 27" and I hate it, definitely too big for my taste).
if I go for the new 3 setup, I was maybe thinking in IPS ones, but I've been reading so many contradictories opinions about it, that I don't really know, the factor that keeps me worried is the lag, because I really play a lot of FPS games. but on other hand I would appreciate an upgrade in image quality and colors .

well I would really like to hear some opinions from the experts of this forum!

BTW by budget is around US$1200

Budget is too low for IPS monitors (at least the good IPS monitors). My 26" IPS NEC LCD2690WUXi costs more than $1,200. Best IPS monitor for low lag is the 26" Planar PX2611w, it costs just under $800. Input lag is less than 8ms or less than half a frame; pretty good for IPS.

Whatever monitors you end up buy for an Eyefinity set, you must remember one thing:

An LCD monitor with a DisplayPort connection is required. Connection combinations for Eyefinity are as follows:

1. DVI-D / HDMI / DisplayPort
2. DVI-D / DVI-D / DisplayPort

but I found some Dell ultrasharp 22" and 24" for around 400 box. any comment about this ones?
may be I will not beable to find fast ones for that price?
