Upgrading to a better CPU?

I have an i7 duo core 620m cpu, base clock 2.66ghz and able to turbo boost to 3.33ghz( I have NEVER gotten past 3.0ghz before). Is there a way to OC it to reach a higher speed?
Another question is, i would like to upgrade the CPU since its the bottleneck to many of my games. Is there a way to change the core? I have a HM55 motherboard, I'm not sure if my core is soldered into the motherboard. If it is, do i have to change the motherboard totally?
Any suggestions are welcomed!

You can't oc the mobil cpu in the laptop. And don't recommend to use other methods to do it.

If you want to upgrade, you may consider to build the desktop, then you can oc or upgrade the parts. Or buy the new laptop for games.

ok but the thing is, I'm having this cpu as a desktop cpu. Yes, i'm using a desktop and i'm using mobile cpu, which is why I'm thinking of upgrading it.
