Upgrading To A Intel i5

I am upgrading to a Intel i5 and am wondering if I can use my hard drive that has 64 bit Windows 8.1 on it so I don't have to buy Windows again.

if your motherboard remains the same yes you can reuse the license. if not its not possible unless you have the product key

IMHO you should always format with new PC parts, i like having a "fresh start" ^^

But with Windows 8.1, you can reinstall your OS every time you want, even if you buy a complete new PC !
It was false with Windows XP/VISTA/7/8.0 but now, the Serials politics of Microsoft have changed 😉
