Hello,
I'm upgrading my old ass motherboard and was wondering what I should/need to before I change out all the components so I don't mess anything up.

Thank you.

Solution
First, get your mind wrapped around the concept of a full OS install. Along with everything else.

Second, back up your personal data.

Third, for any other assistance, give us a list of ALL parts, old and new.

So my old parts are;
MO: gigabyte 970 gaming
RAM: 4X4GB DDR3 HyperX Ram 1600mhz
CPU: AMD FX 8350 8 Core
PSU: LitePower 450W thermaltake
GPU: GTX 1060 3GB
And I have a bunch of SSDs

The new parts are;
CPU: Intel Core i5 9400F
MO: ASRock Phantom Gaming 4 B365
RAM: XLR8 1X16GB 3200mhz (I know it gets bottle necked lower)
Same PSU and GPU

Thank you for the help :)

Also where do I download a windows 10 iso to put on my flashdrive

Yes, fresh install of the OS and everything else.

Assuming Win 10
For the OS activation, read and do this before you change any parts:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/20530/windows-10-reactivating-after-hardware-change

And put a new PSU in that budget. Replace that thermaltake.
