Hi:
I am looking for recommendations on upgrading my mechanical 2TB 7200rpm HD to a SAMSUNG 860 EVO (or equivalent) SSD drive. My understanding is that SAMUNG SSD’s are highly rated and the transfer software is superior. I currently have 228GB used on the old drive (1.75TB usable - 1.59TB available). I do not expect much more on this drive as I use a NAS to off-load photos, movies, music and other data. As the cost differential is much higher in the larger drive, should I go with a 2TB, 1TB or 500GB SSD? Any recommendations or suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks…..
Henry
