Question Upgrading to G.Skill Trident Z RGB DDR4 4800MHz 32GB ?

Hello everyone. I would like to upgrade the ram. Is the G.Skill Trident Z RGB DDR4 4800MHz 32GB ram is fine? . because I'm still using ddr4. Can I fully utilized the speed of this ram? or is there an issue with this ram?. Thank you.

Since without that, i can't look up MoBo specs and tell if your 4800 Mhz DDR4 RAM will work at 4800 Mhz, or is it reduced to JEDEC standard speeds of 2133-3200 Mhz.

Put the RAM part number in it and look if MoBo supports it at given speeds or not.

I looked up a bit and only G.Skill 2x 16GB set that runs at 4800 Mhz is with part number of: F4-4800C20D-32GTES

If the RAM you have is with same part number, you're golden.
If not, chances that it holds 4800 Mhz is 50:50. It may, or it may default to anywhere between 2133 and 3200 Mhz.

If you want a guarantee, buy the RAM listed in MoBo memory QVL.

Your mobo shows it will support that speed but don't be surprised if the cpu won't.

My first RAM is 16 GB 4x4 sticks, and it is a bit slow for video editing and multitasking. Since today is Black Friday, and many RAMs are sale, I would like to upgrade and sell the old RAM.. i just can't fight a good Ram on my pc with higher clock's speed MTS .. and i don't know what Ram i should buy .and too many ram are out of stock .couldyou suggest me one ? https://www.amazon.it/ in here.

By a 2x32gb kit. I doubt you will see much improvement going beyond 3200 CL16, with a 12th gen chip.

That specific RAM isn't listed in your MoBo memory QVL. So, it operating at 3600 Mhz is 50:50 chance.
But it does work within JEDEC speeds of 2133-3200 Mhz.

But if you plan to buy two sets of 2x 16GB, then all 4x DIMMs working together have even smaller chance. Let alone running all 4x at 3600 Mhz.

If you need 4x DIMMs, buy a set of 4.

Do not mix memory by buying two different sets of RAM and combining them. Since the chances that all 4x DIMMs work together, are small.

As you can see, G.Skill has only tested the motherboard to be capable of DDR4-3600 dual channel, so that is the highest you should expect.
