Upgrading to GeForce GTX 295

No Monitor
ATI Radeon HD 3450 256MB

If I wanted to upgrade to GeForce GTX 295 what do I need? Would it be easy?Would my system support it ?

Your system will definitely support it. Just that, changing from ATI to nVidia requires quite some work, clearing drivers and all, won't be simple unless you're used to it.

Its brand new its a dell xps studio do I just go into programs and remove all drivers??

If you upgrade the power supply,maybe.
Dell power supplies are generally pretty good, but the 360 watt unit provided in the Studio XPS certainly won't provide enough power for the addition of a GTX 295.
You're going to want to check the fit as well, I know that the GTX260 has been wedged into the Studio.
You'll want to keep the hard drive in the upper bay and set an 80 mm fan on the front floor of the case to help with cooling, as well.

Whats your PSU rated at? You might have to upgrade that as well.

Its at 360 watts I will upgrade,I just received my xps studio today i bought a bigger power supply for it 650 watts the original one was Gtx 285, my question is I purchased( PNY )geforce gtx 285 I am really confused. I go to www.nvidia.com pick out the model I want but then I see diffrent brands PNY,BFG....etc what's the deal I purchased gtx 285 for 380 did i get the right one????

Yes I got the PNY Nvidia gtx 285....
But my question is why is their diffrent brands of gtx 285????

Because there are different video card companies.
They all use the same board, just with thier different labels, bios and support packages.
There's a picture of a crotch rocket as your avatar, "why are there different brands of motorcycles ?" would be just as legitimate a question.
