I'm going to start out with everything I currently have so you can hopefully understand my situation better. First time upgrading so forgive me if I'm a little slow with all this or if it seems I don't know what I'm talking about. (I probably don't)

From what I can tell I have a Dell Inspiron 620 (not the 620s, at least not from what I can tell), it comes with an Nvidia GTX 420, an i5-2310, 6gb of RAM, and has a 300w PSU. I use this PC mainly for gaming and is why I'm upgrading. I'd like to buy a GTX 650 Ti, and as you can probably tell I need a new PSU. My price range for a PSU is preferably under $50-$60 dollars, I'd really like it more around $30-$40 if possible. I've searched around and have found a few things I'm interested in, mainly want to know if they'll fit and work.

The PSU: http://

The sale on the PSU may end before I buy it, if so I may not be buying that PSU specifically so what should I look for? I read in another post on this forum from 2010 that the 620 has the ATX case, correct? Does that severely limit my options? Thanks for all responses in advance.

The specs on the power supply seen to indicate 30 amps at 12 volts. That is about what you would expect from a quality 400 watt power supply.

Your system is not overly demanding so it should be ok, but you may be able to do better.

Some units that seem in budget.

Antec Earthwatts 380D
SPARKLE ATX-400PN-B204 - Not a big name, but FSP makes quite a few power supplies for other companies
SeaSonic 80 Plus SS-350ET - It is only 350 watts, but Your system does not look too demanding.
Corsair CX430 - Some may not recommend this due to some part cuts

Even more can be found, I am sure you will get some other options soon.
