Hey guys,
Lately I've been starting to think about buying a new card since I've been able to juice out every little bit of performance out of my 6970 and I'm starting to feel like I need an upgrade. At my local computer shop, they have Gigabyte GTX 670 (link is below) that I've had my eye on so I'm asking, is it worth it to go out and buy the 670 or wait and get the next generation of cards. I mostly play ArmA 2, Battlefield 3, Far Cry 3 and a few other really demanding games and I want to be able to push 60 FPS all the time, which I can't really do right now. So what do you guys think?
My 6970 is running on a Arctic Accelero Xtreme 3 cooler @980 MHz on the core and 1450 MHz on the memory at 1.2V. Other important specs are a i5 3570k @4 GHz, 8GB DDR3 1600 MHz and my monitor is a Samsung P2370H 1080p.
