Upgrading to i5-4460 from an A8-7600

I'm heavily considering upgrading to an i5-4460 which is 10x better than my A8-7600, GTX 750ti combo. But since the rx 480 is coming in a couple weeks, I'm not sure if I should just stick with the A8 and get the Rx 480. If I stick with the A8 do you think it would bottle neck the Rx 480? Or should I upgrade my cpu and get the gpu later?

I definitely think you should upgrade the cpu and use the 750 ti till you can afford a rx480. Skylake has affordable options. You should go with a i5-6500 if you are going to take the leap at this point.

Is the difference between the i5-4460 and the i5-6500 that noticeable? For right now, the 4460 is cheaper and more affordable for me and I'd like to upgrade asap.

maybe 10% best case scenario, but you will have to upgrade your ram. so if your on a budget the 4460 is probably the better way to go.
