Upgrading to I5-4590 on HP 198E Motherboard

Based on the manual which is https://support.hp.com/my-en/document/c03885123 (I think) Theres is no upgrade option for i5-4590. Im currently using an i3-4150 and im wondering can I upgrade my processsor to i5-4590 even that the manual didnt say it can be upgraded to that processor? Im really scared if it will blow up for spoil the processor if i buy it. Please help.

If it says it's not compatible, then it's not compatible. Although from that link by itself I can't really tell why it wouldn't be supported, there's no point in risking it and wasting money if it doesn't work. You can upgrade to a 4570 which is still a fine processor.
