hi,
I currently have:
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 6950 TOXIC (2GB) PCI Express x16
MotherBoard: Gigabyte P55-UD4
CPU: Intel i5 750, 2.67Ghz
Memory: 4x4Gb Corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 (1600Mhz)
Main HardDrive: OCZ Vertex3 240GB
Secondary HardDrive: x2 (RAID 5) WD 1TB (Green)
PSU: Corsair (Don't know the model)

I just got the new i7 3970X with the intel DX79SR motherboard.😀
I want to replace the current board and CPU with these guys.

My question is: Is there a component that I should upgrade to get an even better result from my system? Where's by bottleneck?

The computers is used for game development, gaming, heavy photoshop, and 3d rendering.

Thanks
Gil

Your bottleneck will be the video. But also, with all that rendering etc. I'd get 32GB RAM. Without a budget we can only guess.

Perhaps a GTX 780.

You may want to consider the new Samsung 840 EVO 1TB SSD. You can put everything on it for some really fast performance.
