Hi folk, I am about to upgrade my desktop to be more real workstation.
I will be using it for modelling, rendering, animating 3D animation in MAYA and composition a lot complex effects in After effects as a recent 3D animator recent graduate student.
Here is my system and plan to upgrade.
1. Mobo z87 mpower --> ASUS X99-PRO ATX DDR4 3000 LGA 2011-3 or x99s mpower(1 question is the description on newegg and amazon say non-ecc. So it can't run ecc?
2. 4770k --> Xeon E5-2603V3 LGA2011(any better? in the same budget?)
3.v7900 no plan to change.
4. Psu HX850 Corsair no plan to change.
5.Kingston HyperX non-ECC 8x4=32-->Crucial 32GB Kit (16GBx2) DDR4-2133. ECC(not sure can b run on the new mobo?)
6.WD Black 1T HDD--> Crucial MX200 500GB mSATA Internal SSD or MyDigitalSSD 256GB (240GB) 50mm Bullet Proof 4 BP4 50mm mSATA SSD.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
