Hey guys, I am going to upgrade my crappy NVIDIA GeForce 210 GPU to a GTX 750 Ti. I just want to know if my remaining specs will bottleneck my GPU or any of its performance. As the GTX 750 Ti's price is very low (at about $130) as compared to its performance and its compact design along with low power usage, I am going for this card.

Motherboard: MSI G41M-P33 Combo (MS-7592)
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 @ 2.2 GHz
DRAM: 2x2GB Transcend DDR3
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 210
Power Supply: 350W
HardDisk: WD Blue 500 GB @ 7200 RPM with 16MB Cache - SATA

Will my motherboard even support the GPU? Will I need to upgrade my CPU or RAM? And am I okay with the power supply unit that I have?

My default screen resolution is 1366x768. Will I be able to max out most latest games on my PC in my native resolution once I get the new card? If so, will the gameplays be smooth for Far Cry 4, Tom Clancy's The Division, GTA V and other latest and upcoming titles?

Thanks in advance!

Card won't reach its full potential with that old CPU, but it'll be much better than what you currently have. Still, I doubt you'll be able to max out the games you mentioned even at that low resolution (mostly the CPU again). If you can't afford to upgrade to a better PC you might as well just get a GT 740 and save the $40-50.

Thanks for the quick reply. But I'm not into e-shopping yet so I'll have to bargain at the stores I can find. But can't I simply overclock my CPU to 3 GHz or something from the BIOS and remove most or at least some of the bottleneck? Because my budget is tight. How much of a bottleneck would it cause on the GPU anyways?
