Question Upgrading to RTX 2060

So I am thinking of upgrading from my gtx 960, to a RTX 2060 oc from Gigabyte.
My question is:
Is my PSU good enough?
I have a corsair VS550 PSU. I know the required watts for the gpu is 500W, but I have heard some bad things about the corsair VS550, so I wanted to make sure it was good enough.
Also I am planning to upgrade it in the future, but I have some other priorties first, like the gpu and more ram later. So just wanna know if it's good for now.

My specs:
CPU: Intel core I5 8400
Current GPU: GTX 960
PSU: Corsair VS550
Ram: 8gb, 1066mhz, ddr4
MB: MSI Mortar Z370M

550W should be enough for it, and the VS550 isn't bad in the grand scheme of things. It should be able to run the 2060.

I good investment to go along with that card would be another 8gb stick of ram.

Yeah, I am probably gonna buy a new set with 2x8gb, because I am not sure if I can find one that works with the one I have.
