Upgrading to Ryzen

I am planning to upgrade my rig. The question is should i go for the 1600 or the 1600X? The wraith cooler isn't a concern as I'm not planning to use it anyway. My current corsair H60 already supports AM4 (hooray!). And for the motherboard I have set my eyes on the MSI Tomahawk Arctic and Gigabyte Gaming 3 (B350). I kinda like the Tomahawk because the color fits my theme.

Which is the better choice and why?

If your planning to have it as a gaming rig I would say i5 8400, if its multi use, go with 1600X and overclock using a decent board.
I would say the B350 Fatal1ty would make a better choice than those if you overclock.

what makes the Fatal1ty better? it doesnt look much different than the gigabyte g3
