Hello,

This sounds really odd at first but bear with me.

Last week I ordered a HD5570 'DDR3' off eBay, but the DDR2 version turned up (naughty seller). I've installed it on my computer and I was making do with it.

Tonight, I decided to look on eBay again just to make myself feel better and see if my DDR2 card was going for a higher price.

Yet low and behold, I saw another HD5570 DDR3 on auction for cheaper and the seller had pics of it (with DDR3 clearly seen on the box).

Anyway I did buy it, and at a cheaper price.

So my question is: When the DDR3 version comes, will I have to change anything to do with the drivers, or is it all the same as the DDR2 version on the software side?

Also, for curiosity, here's the DDR2 card I bought: http://xfxforce.com/en-us/products/GraphicCards/HD%205000series/5570.aspx

and here's the DDR3 one I bought:

Are there any known issues with the manufacturers or anything? Maybe one has louder fans?

Finally, I hope you can all reassure me that there will be a noticeable performance difference!

Thanks
