Hello,
My situation is that I am planning to upgrade my laptop from a HDD to an SSD, I have been reading about a rule about Windows 8 is that you have to remove the old installation of it before you put it on the new drive. I will be using the old HDD for data storage, so would it work if I take out the HDD, install my SSD, install Windows 8, Then put the old HDD back in and format it, removing all that is on the HDD including Windows 8. If this won't work, could you give me a step-by-step to do this, I am a little new at this stuff. Thanks!
