Hey,
Planning on upgrading to the 3080 maybe the 3070 and I wanted to know, will my current parts be enough to use this graphics card to its full ability?

CPU: Intel i7770K
GPU: Nvidia RTX 2070
RAM: 16GB DDR4 @ 2400Mhz
MOBO:
GigaByte DAZ270P-D3
HDD: 1TB Generic
SDD: 100GB + 250GB WD SSDs
COOLER: EVO 212
POWER: Corsair VS 650W PLUS

If any upgrades are needed please let me know as I would like to prepare myself.
Thanks for any tips!

Solution
If you're gaming at 1080p, you wont be able to. The cpu will bottleneck the 3080. Also i would get a better psu. You can refer to the psu tier list here.

Sorry, forgot to mention 1440P 144Hz monitor.

Awesome, I will look at that list, I just wont know which is compatible with the RTX 3080.

The bottleneck will be less at 1440p but really it's still a bottleneck lol. But i think you'll be able to achieve maybe 120fps+.

Check this video out. At 1440p, there's not much bottleneck but it's still there. As for the psu, you should get a corsair hx750i or hx850i for more headroom for overclocking etc. Nvidia recommends 750w psu for the 3080 but if you're planning to overclock the processor as well or getting a more powerful processor soon, the 850w psu would be safer. Also, i would upgrade your ram to at least 3000mhz.
