I have my free upgrade available still. My PC has a 1TB HDD and a 120GB SSD (Windows is on the SSD).

Whenever I click 'Upgrade Now' and I go through the installation wizard it soon says that in order to upgrade I'd have to wipe the memory completely. I can't decide if it's talking about wiping my HDD or SSD. Anyone have any ideas?

First disconnect the Hdd.always make backup.unless you want to do a clean install no. It will Basically Upgrad your windows folder, leaving your users folder intact. After there will be a windows.old folder you can clean up using the file cleaner and selecting delete old operating systems.
